Established on August 16, 1996, Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel has remained proudly family owned and operated since day one. In a time when many small funeral homes are being absorbed by large corporations, we’ve chosen a different path—one that keeps service personal, compassionate, and rooted in our community.

We don’t just serve the families of Americus and surrounding areas—we live here, work here, and stand beside our neighbors in both celebration and sorrow. Our motto has always been simple and sincere:

Every life deserves to be honored with dignity and care. That’s why we offer on-site cremation at Pine Ridge Cremation, located right here within our facility. Your loved one will never leave our care.

We are also the owners of Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located on Upper River Road in Americus. If you're in need of grave spaces or would like more information, we’re always here to help.
